Argentum yesterday, today and tomorrow
Ever since the founding of the company in 1983 Argentum’s philosophy has been to deliver new and sustainable gains for their clients. Argentum as we know it today is the result of past cooperation with Hewlett-Packard, Boliden, TietoEnator and several other companies who acknowledged Argenutm’s mixture of organisation- and IT-competence as an opportunity for them to focus on their core business and further develop customer-advantages.
Parallel to the client-specific tasks Argentum has developed and marketed their own products. During the 80’s the ERP system Garde was installed on numerous sites in Scandinavia, England and even Italy. At its’ peak more that 150 users in Europe had the system installed, one of the biggest clients was Nokia. Another example of product innovation and development was ignited as a spin-off of working closely with Boliden, the result of this is the chemical management system today known as Chemsoft.
Argentum is privately owned and the company continues to foster their unique combination of organisation- and IT-competence within the four selected business areas: Industrial Processes, Environment and Chemicals, Public Services and Mobility.
